Back in July I was fortunate to be asked to photograph the National 9/11 Flag as it made a stop in DC during it’s tour across the country. The flag was destroyed in World Trade Center attacks and stitched back together along with flags from other tragedies including a small piece of the flag that was laid on Lincoln when he was shot at Ford’s Theatre . It’s a truly impressive piece to see in person and I was honored to be able to sew a few stitches in honor of my friends who lost their lives on that awful day.
